B3 Protected Balanced Fund

The B3 Protected Balanced Fund is managed in accordance with prudential investment guidelines (complies with Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act) and is an actively managed balanced fund. The fund invests across a variety of asset classes and instruments with a bias towards protected equities over the investment cycle. Value is added by active stock selection and management of the average duration of the bond portfolio. In addition the equity, bond and offshore components can be protected by using the proprietary Contego process. The fund has exposure to a combination of domestic and foreign equities which may not exceed 75%, with a maximum offshore exposure not exceeding 20%.
